- Remember when doing your homework for Monday that a wrong answer
with no work is worth 0 points. A right answer with no work on the
first part is worth 1 point and maybe even the second part. Give
reasons why you choose the answers you do!

- Homework #2 (Due 1/22/99)
Updated on 1/8/99.
- There is a typo in the book on page 7, Question number 21. There
should be a bar over the second occurence of the proposition p. The
answer in the back of the book has the correct problem listed.
- The precedence of logical operators seems to indicate that I
interpreted a problem incorrectly in class. the problem, there exists
x, p(x) -> q(x) should be interpreted (there exists x, p(x)) -> q(x).
So on problem number 27 in 1.3 you may not use x=0 as a counter
example.
