- I will be in my office until 5:00 pm on Tuesday and return 8:45 am on
Wednesday if you have any questions. My office phone is x7107 and my home
phone is 324-0546. My husband goes to bed around 9:30 pm so please do not
call any later than 9:30 pm. Thanks!
11/26/97
- Final Exam Week Schedule: Your final programming project must be
complete by Wednesday, December 3 at 9:00 am. We will meet in the NT lab
to do a run through of your projects on the screen. We will also see
Kevin Arnold's and Mike Wade's presentation on Heap Sort at this time. At
the end of the morning we will have evaluations and then pizza.
- If you have not turned in a working project for any of the projects I
am starting an Amnesty period where you can resubmit your programs for a
better grade. This period begins at 11 am on Wednesday, Dec 3 and goes
until midnight Sunday, Dec 7. You may submit any of the projects and be
graded on them as if they were on time.

- Tenth Week Reading Assignment: Chapter 9, pages 422 - 457, and Chapter
10, and Chapter 11, pages 511 - 520.
- Project Description now includes a
tentative schedule and a list of who has been assigned each topic. Check
it out.
- Ninth Week Reading Assignment: Chapter 7, pages 298-334, and Chapter
9, pages 384 - 422.

- Seventh Week Reading Assignment: Chapter 8 in KTL.
- The Second Test is scheduled for Monday, November 10th, in class.

- Programming Project #3 is now due Wednesday, October 29.
- Sixth Week Reading Assignment: Chapter 6 in KTL. Chapter 8, pp
336-344 in KTL.
- Homework #4 is due Friday, October 31, 1997.

- Programming Project #3 has been updated. The new due date is October
27 (Monday).
10/14/97
- I WAS WRONG! The book is correct! Since I have
been so goofy this week I will extend the due date until Thursday, October
16 at 5 pm. However, I will not have any office hours on Thursday and my
Wednesday office hours have been moved to 1-2 pm for this week only.

- The Programming Project Due Date has been extended until
tomorrow, October 14, 1997.
- There is some typos in the book on page 65. There should be & in front
of each list newlive, maylive, newdie, and maydie in all the function
calls on that page.

- Test #1 will be on Wednesday, October 15, 1997. It will be worth 50
points and cover Chapters 1-3 and half of Chapter 4. There will be no
writing of C code in the test. 20 points of the test will come from
short answer questions taken from the Chapter Reviews at the end of each
Chapter.
- Reading for Fourth Week: Chapter 4 pp 152-186 of Data Structures
& Program Design in C. Chapters 7 and 8 (last two!!) of The C
Programming Language.
