Mini-Lab 1: Introduction to Alice
Introduction
The purpose of this Lab is to become familiar with the
Alice interface. We will learn how to run Alice animations,
and how to set up Alice worlds.
Instructions
- Complete Appendix A in the Alice textbook. (Don't worry if the
"Textbook" tab is missing, just pick a world from the "Examples" tab
instead.)
- Create your own world using objects from the Alice gallery. Use
your imagination. Your world should include several objects,
including a billboard and some 3D text (described in the Tips and
Techniques section of Chapter 1). Save a copy of this world in your
M: directory.
- Show your world to your instructor when you are finished.
